Bringing Droids to Life

Welcome to the New Mexico Droid Builders. the hub for Star Wars droids in the Land of Enchantment! We are a group of passionate makers who construct functional droids. We combine art and engineering to support local charities, promote STEM education, and celebrate the galaxy far, far away at events across New Mexico.

About the Group

A community of makers, engineers, and Star Wars enthusiasts building life-sized, working droids.

We are a local chapter of builders dedicated to fabricating, 3D printing, and/or programming our own astromechs and companion droids. Whether you are a master machinist or just bought your first 3D printer, we share resources, code, and camaraderie to help everyone finish their build.
